Moona Luna is the passionate second project of Mexican-American songwriter Sandra Velasquez and her Latin band Pistolera. Inspired by the birth of her daughter, Velasquez wrote an albums’ worth of songs geared towards families. Their debut album, Piñata Party (2011), won a Parent’s Choice Award as well as CD of the Year Award for a foreign language from Creative Child Magazine. ... more
